Nature on edge: Despite having some of the world’s strictest nature laws, European biodiversity is
plummeting. With only 23% of species under the EU Nature Directives in good health, and taking into
consideration the recent Biodiversity Strategy for 2030, how should the EU ensure a natural habitat that benefits both people, animals and the climate?
