Despite the EU making progress towards meeting its climate and energy targets laid out in the Europe 2020 strategy, only a few Member States are willing to invest in new and more sustainable technologies. How can the EU ensure that all Member States will adhere to the guidelines proposed in the 2030 Policy Framework for Climate and Energy in order to render the EU’s economy and energy system more competitive, secure and sustainable?
