Life is a Highway: City streets in urban and especially in rural areas tend to be designed for cars and leave little space for carbon free mobility. However, road vehicles make up 30% of all carbon emissions and with climate change accelerating urgent change is needed. How can the EU and other European countries work toward creating carbon free mobility in urban and rural areas while keeping in mind how vital cars are to a large portion of the population?
