Food for thought:With 970 million tonnes of soil lost every year across the union’s territory and
a contribution of 30% of the yearly greenhouse gas emissions, how can the EU
restructure its current Common Agricultural Policy, and also define a new, highly
requested, Common Food Policy, to make a vital step forward in terms of achieving the
Europe 2020 Strategy goals?
