Political disillusion in Europe: low voter turnouts and several youth polls have shown that
disenchantment with politics and unawareness of the political and social reality of the EU have led to an
increasingly passive attitude amongst young Europeans. What measures should be taken in order to
motivate young people to play an active role and take responsibility in European society?
