Heal the world: In the light of COP24 in Katowice 2018, the vision on demonstrating how neutrality in terms of greenhouse gas emissions can be attained through forest preservation has been presented. With EU forests absorbing the equivalent of nearly 10% of total EU greenhouse gas emissions each year, the preservation of EU forests becomes increasingly important as a contribution to a robust climate policy. How could the EU further work for the preservation of forests across its Member States?
