Educating Women the Path to Sustainability? - There are currently 31 million girls not attending primary education, mainly in developing countries. With education proven to reduce maternal and infant mortality, lower birth rates and encourage women to enter the workforce, it is argued to be a key step towards sustainable development. What role should the EU take in encouraging the educating of women in developing countries?
