With a high number of NEETs and the increasing spread of automation and digital technologies replacing
many low-skilled and middle-skilled jobs, how can the EU Member States ensure their citizens are equipped
with the necessary skills to remain relevant in an increasingly knowledge-based economy? How best can the
European educational institutions provide long-life training and re-qualify the European workforce?
