Renewable or Nuclear: 30% of the electricity used in the EU comes from Nuclear Power, while only 16% is produced in a renewable manner. Recognising the pros and cons of each respective direction, and the fact that some member states are supporters of total movement away from nuclear power, while others are actively building modern plants, how should the EU strategize in order to meet both environmental goals and energy needs?
