Discrimination in education against Roma children: Recognising the fact that education is a basic human right and that in many EU member states such as Slovakia, Bulgaria, and Italy, Roma children are systematically segregated from non-Roma children, and taking into account the EU’s Race Equality Directive, how can the EU establish a legislative framework for each Member State providing an equal access to education?
